Water is essential to life.  Besides air it is the most important thing you need to drink everyday.  Even though we live in the so called first world with "clean water".  We are still drinking pollutants from the cleaning process of our waters even bottled has contamination from the plastics that it is transported and packaged in.

Self care is the most essential thing you can do for more balance in your life





Taking care of yourself is the most important thing you can do for everyone around you.  When you make a conscious decision to take the time and energy towards yourself you are doing a greater service to others.  The more you do for others, the more you must do for yourself. Life is balance and self care is the one of the most important things you can do for the better of all people around you.  Making the simple effort to make sure that you are centered balanced and calm is the first step.  By setting aside a specific time that you devote only to yourself is a very great way to maintain balance and control in your life.  Yoga, meditation, massage and self massage are easy safe and very effective ways to keep balance and control as central aspects in your life



The first step is always the hardest it’s simple start with a very easy and enjoyable activity that makes you feel good and over time with each day.  The easiest way to simply learn how to relax and let go for the true beginner is to lay on your back on either a soft carpeted floor a yoga or meditation mat a rug or blanket.  Just make sure that it is comfortable, it will make it easier and more enjoyable for you to practice on a regular basis.  Everyday practice is the most important thing.  Even if it is only five minutes per day that is perfect, as long as your making the effort to take care of yourself that is a good start.
Lay on your back and begin to visualize your head from the inside out.  Visualize your brain and start to feel any tight spots or areas of tension disappearing.  Then move to your face, then your neck both front and back.  Then move to your shoulders arms hands fingers etc.  Then move back to your chest to your stomach then the hips knees ankles feet and toes.
Visualize each part of your body as having no tension or pain.  Start doing this for a quick five minutes, then gradually spend more and more time.

Stop chronic back pain doing one simple thing, kill your couch

 

The couch was made for instant comfort not always the best posture, the long term use of a couch causes bad posture which is the direct cause of chronic back pain. 

avoid sitting on your couch and slouching, by simply sitting on the floor.  Now at first this will probably be uncomfortable on your back since you are actually stimulating the muscles that promote good posture.  So expect some slight discomfort and adjustment.  But with regular lying and sitting on the floor your posture will improve and your chronic pain will go away.

Practice lying on your back on the floor and feel your body relax slowly do some cross body stretches crossing your leg over the opposite side of your body and hold until it becomes comfortable usually 2-5
 minutes.

be a kid play on the floor keep your youth and stop the stiffness. Sell your couch and do something fun with the money.  Your life will be improved by having more space in your home and your body will be more flexible by actually doing some stretches.

Kill your couch and your life will improve its that simple.  Enjoy, play and be happy!!!
